The “Mentor’s Wall” at the Civic Innovation Lab is a space to celebrate members of the Nigerian tech ecosystem who are making strides in both technology and social impact, and have built solutions that show their commitment to the promotion and betterment of the African society.

This quarter, we’re these celebrating these 3 social innovators ;

Iyin Abojeyi,  co-founder Andela and Flutterwave, for his contributions to education through Andela, a company that is s building the next generation of global technology leaders from Africa.

Seun Onigbinde, co-founder of Budg-IT, a company that employs tech tools to simplify the budget for citizens, and increase transparency and accountability in government.

Hamzat Lawal of Connected Development, a company that creates mobile and web platforms that help marginalized communities hold their government accountable, and providing them with information that ushers social and economic progress.

On Friday, October 20, 2017, we hosted the mentor’s at the Civic Innovation Lab for an unveiling. Hamzat Lawal and Seun Onigbinde made an appearance, and talked about how it felt to be recognized and appreciated for the work. Iyin Aboyeji was unable to attend the event, but he sent us a video sharing his regrets, and sending his appreciation of the recognition.
