This Friday, September 29, 2017, at 4:00pm, we will be talking with Hakeem Adeniji-Adele, of Microsoft, about Transforming Nigeria through Technology, #TNTT.
DevTalks is a Civic Innovation Lab program that provides a platform to dialogue and engage civil society on issues that affect their wellbeing. The aim is to articulate social problems and spark innovative ideas to tackle them.
The program brings all relevant stakeholders to the table to discuss topics that range from social policy, civil society engagement, and the impact of technology in moving our country forward.
The event is broken into two main parts to provide maximum engagement and inclusion. The first part is the chat with Hakeem Adeniji-Adele, followed by a question and answer session for guests to engage with the topic. The event will end with the closing remarks and a networking session.
As Nigeria turns 57 in a few days, we’re building conversations that examine where we’re going as a country, and how technology can help get us there faster.
Technology has disrupted a lot of sectors and industries, but government processes, which in most cases, requires the most reforms and overhauls, especially for us, as a developing country, remains largely untouched.
Transformation begins with information, and that is why we’re fostering these types of dialogues at the Civic Innovation Lab, a technology hub in Abuja, Nigeria.
We’re creating an environment where tech and government stakeholders can gather, and figure out the ways that they can collaborate to drive the needle even further and move our country forward.
